Sawadi is a guest farm with the comfort of a Riad, located in the heart of one of the most beautiful palm groves of Morocco, 40km from Ouarzazate and 15km from the foothills of the Atlas .

Sawadi is mainly an ecolodge. Everything has been studied to reduce the impact on the environment. The kasbahs with their traditional architectural style are built with materials collected on site, we make our laundry with natural products to avoid using devastating detergents, we have generalized the use of LEDs to reduce our energy consumption …

A wooded area

The surface of the domain of Sawadi is of 4ha, flowered, raised of date palms, pomegranate trees, apple trees, pear trees, peach trees, vine, fig trees. A little more than 3ha are dedicated to the activities of the ecological farm. It supplies our restaurant with fresh products and by-products: meat, vegetables, fruits, eggs, olive oil, jams, yoghurts.

Only 20% of the domain is occupied by hotel infrastructures. To preserve the tranquility and privacy of our guests, the grounds are entirely enclosed and the rooms are spread out over the entire hotel area. We are 7 km from the village, no noise disturbing the peace of the place. No dust either, guests enjoy the exclusive use of the pool, the restaurant with its magnificent shaded terrace and the SPA (hammam and massages).

The team

The Sawadi team is composed of 15 employees who all live within a radius of 3 km around Sawadi, in the heart of the palm grove.

Abdelkader the pillar of Sawadi always present, man of confidence, responsible for the personnel he is also responsible for the new works and the maintenance, he assures the link between the leaders and the team.

Said is the man “to do almost everything well”: room service, animation, pool maintenance, room control, small maintenance, daily purchases…

Abdelillah is in charge of the restaurant. He leads the cooks in the preparation of the meals and the elaboration of our delicious jams. He is in charge of Sawadi’s beauty products: rose water and calendula oil.

The 3 farmers Ahmed, Abdelmajid and Abdouloueb devote themselves to vegetable and fodder crops as well as farm animals. The gardener Abdejallil, has discovered a talent for flowers while his basic profession is construction. Thanks to his great interest in cuttings, the flower park is constantly embellished. Schrif maintains the cleanliness of the exterior.

Kbira, Aziza and Khadouje clean all the living spaces.

Khadija and Zubida carry out the treatments of the program proposed to our customers in our SPA area (scrubs, clay wraps, massages…).

Panoramic terrace

A large panoramic terrace, sheltered from view, serves as a solarium. At night, it is also the ideal place to admire the impressive starry sky away from any artificial lighting.
